Why did you become vegan?
I became vegan for two reasons. First one is that I am a animal lover, I don’t agree with a animals life span being determine by a human. They have the right to live just like us. Also because after doing the research is common sense. We aren’t designed to eat meat. That’s why meat is being cooked t give it taste, but what did we do then when fire wasn’t created? I believe god left us with everything we need and it grows on earth. Its simple fruits, nuts and veggies.

How has your vegan diet affected your health and fitness?
After becoming vegan I feel more energized, more clean, more in touch with nature and earth. It is a beautiful thing to live without causing any cruelty, and without having any sickness or harming our bodies. I also don’t get tired easily and have more energy than the meat eaters.

What do you think are the main misconceptions of veganism?
The main misconception on veganism is that we don’t get enough protein and that we are weak. But if you look at my workout videos I prove them wrong.

What sort of training do you do to keep in shape?
For training I like to do a lot of bodyweight exercises. I believe if a person can't master their own bodyweight they have done nothing. Just like bodybuilders who most can't peform all the bodyweight exercises I do. I also use some free weights and I like to keep the rest period low, and always train hard and keep the body guessing for whats next.

Do you have any notable fitness achievements or personal bests?
After becoming vegan I tested myself to see if I can do 100 push ups straight, and I did 105 push ups straight. Also could have kept going but didn’t want to make the video long since I was recording it. I have also done 1,000 crunches straight. Heres the link to the video of my 105 push ups:

Could you give us a glimpse of what your average daily food ‘menu’ might look like?
For breakfast I start the day of with a fruit smoothie. It varies, sometimes it would be a banana, acai berry, peanut butter and raw oats smoothie, or sometimes would be papaya and strawberries and almond milk. I like to snack on fruits so always eating all kinds of fruits, either dates, bananas, oranges, apples, or nuts. I also snack on carrots. For dinner I like having a huge salad with tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce sometimes avocado, garbanzo beans.

What’s your response when someone asks “where do you get your protein?”
Where do I get my protein from? From all kinds of foods, such as spinach, broccoli, nuts, beans, almond butter, peanut butter. Just look at a gorilla, he is strong and powerful and doesn’t eat meat. Also if you grew up watching Popeye the cartoon character, he ate his spinach to be strong.

What do you think is the most important aspect of fitness?
The most important aspect of fitness is to exercise like your life depends on it. Do it with consistency. Forget about working out to look good for the opposite sex. Workout to perform at your highest level. To be able to play with your kids when older, to be able to walk without getting tire, to be able to live life everyday, and to be able to take care of your ownself. Exercise to be strong and healthy. The beauty part of the outside is just a extra you get.

Do you have any advice for people looking at making the transition to a vegan diet? (Any helpful resources, websites, books etc..)
